Hi people!This morning I went for service, there was a guest speaker, he is really really awesome.
He is called Nick Vujicic and here is a picture of him.
Do not be scared, he's a fun guy, awesome one i should say. AND~ He's only 25, I can't believe it. He preach so wonderfully, there wasn't any sermon outline, he's just like a walking bible. See that leg over there, He called it the chicken drumstick. haha.Jeremiah 29 : 11 - 14 (NKJV)
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
14 I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.
He said something really important.
IMPOSSIBLE = My strength
if I take out the "IM" it becomes "
Taking out the "IM" means removing MYSELF and do not rely on my strength, but begin to rely on God's strength and everything will become POSSIBLE.

v4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
We must Rejoice, whatever we do. He say, even though he was born without limbs, he's happy. Cos got has given him Life. LIFE, what an important thing. God has given us his only Son. Why can't we rejoice? We must thank God for giving us life.
Embrace my circumstances and oppourtunity to give glory to God.
Amen. Whatever I'm doing now, it's all for the glory of God. All glory will be to Him! AMEN!
He also said something really important
Getting to heaven is not a formula, e.g. You must pray this, this and this and do that,that and that for how many times a day, but it's a personal relationship with God Himself.
Without a personal relationship with God. God is the only one that can bring peace into my heart. In his presence is fullness of joy. The Bible says that God's peace, is a peace that surpasses all understanding. When God's peace is upon you. We can never figure out and understand why.
No one can steal my joy,if my joy is in the salvation.
As a closing passage, he told all the teenagers. This sentence is the one that had deeply impacted me. He says,
When I put my happiness on something temporary,the happiness will only be temporary.
I was like "WAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" And now I know, I must began do things that has of eternal value and not do things for temporary. I don't know how to emphasize of this. It's really really important.
Ok, thats all for the service part.
After service, I went to Jurong point to buy present for my cousin. Oh well. Bought a book and a card.
When I was on the Mrt, City Hall is the stop where I'll be able to get a seat. Just when i reach there and got myself a comfy seat. I saw an old couple came in. I immediately gave up my seat. And the lady sat. I as only ONE person can't possibly get 2seats. I was looking around to see if there was any empty seat. So that the uncle will be able to sit. And to my horror! NONE of the people want to stand up and give their seats. They were all like looking at the Uncle staring at him. Then there was this guy who sat beside the lady that i gave myseat to. I wanted to call him to give up his seat and as I was about to call him, He fell "asleep" at the blink of my eyes. I was like, WHAT AN UGLY SINGAPOREAN! It's not as if he is some kinda 80year-old lau ah pek who can't even stand properly. He looks like a fit 30year-old man. In the end, it was a foreigner who gave up his seat for the Uncle. That guy was such a disgrace to the Singaporeans, a disgrace to society. Just couldn't stand it. Can you imagine it? A foreigner giving up a seat for the elderly when all the Singaporeans did was to sit and stare at the poor old man. What good image are we generating for the tourist? Don't wanna say le. Fuming. Anyway, at least i know that I've done a good deed and thats definitely enough. :)
