Hi people.

Read the papers about a hot topic about repeal377a

Oh well, actually I've gotten to know about this petition about the repealing of 377a.

It's quite a heated debate in the parliament of whether to repeal or retain it. In the end it was retain.

I was pro this campaign, pro-repeal377a. I signed the petition for the repealing of 377a. Signing the petition doesn't make me a gay, give you an analogy, it's just like you supporting this football team doesn't make you a football player in the team. Is that true?

NMP Mr Siew Kum Hong brought up this controversial topic first. He was the one who started the petition and the one who brought it up to the parliament.

The Penal Code of Singapore, in Section 377a, provides for a jail sentence for up to two years should a man be found to have committed an act of "gross indecency" with another man.

This law is applicable whether it is perform in public or behind closed doors. There was a counter petition calling the keep377a. Many comments were on "certain religions do not condones homosexual" and "Singapore is a conservative society." and therefore this law has to be kept. What I wanna say is. Does what others do behind closed doors have to do with the rest of the world? It's their own freedom and choice to do what they wanna do. I certainly do not encourage homosexual to be holding hands and parading down orchard road, but, these gay men are being prosecuted of what they're gonna be doing behind closed doors. PM Lee says that these law will not be actively used to prosecute the gay men. Why keep the law, when it's not being enforced? This shows that the law is being kept for because the 'silent majority' wants it. It's certainly not fair for those gay people.

The Singapore pledge that every government schools' student recite every morning says:
...based on justice and equality, so as to achieve happiness prosperity and progress for our nation.

Are they doing what they are preaching? Is the society being fair to them?
Certainly not. Gay people are labeled as 'criminal' and companies who found out that their employees are gay, therefore terminate their service causing them to lose their job. Many gay people migrate overseas as they feel that Singapore are not able to accept them. Singapore do not have natural resources, minerals and therefore rely a lot on their people. Most of the creative people are gay, no offense but take the fashion industry for example, you see the top designer, make-up artist and many more. Most of them are gay, does that mean we're sending our talents away. ( I don't mean that all gays come from the fashion industry. )

What they do behind closed doors is seriously not of any concerned to any other people. It's their own personal choice. Nobody likes anyone else to be involved with your personal life. At least for me. Why are the people kicking up such a big ruckus because of the repealing of 377a. With all the same old reason. Many also says that if 377a is successfully repeal-ed. ( Which was not. ) Gay activists would therefore push further more about having same-sex marriage and homosexuals adopting child. I personally do not support either both, but right now the issue is that gay men are prosecuted for something they are doing in private.

Another MP Mr Baey Yan Keng, MP for Tanjong Pagar GRC, he's also pro-repeal377a. He said, "I suspect a significant segment of our society does not really care, and some are just uncomfortable with this topic and choose the convenient way to stick with the status quo without knowing what the act exactly is and does," When he was having a meet-the-residents sessions. One said that she was glad that the government had decided to retain it "But when I asked her if she knew what 377A was about, she said no. " Many people decided to "follow the majority and vote for the retaining of 377A" because every does so. Because it's the majority. I was actually fuming when I read that. One who do not know what the Section 377A is about chose to go with the majority for convenient sake.

Give gay people their rights. They deserve it. They didn't choose to be gay, just like you didn't chose to be straight. Give them a break. Give them their rights.

*Disclaimer: All of the above are purely my own opinions.

Hi people!

ARGGHH.

Went out to today to Marina Square to meet Serene for lunch. She didn't tell me her lunchtime. I just went out to meet her at 12 in case. And HOLA! The moment I reach City hall at 12. I received her call. HAHA. Ate Burger King. The moment I step into the Burger King I was like. I'm full already. LOL! I didn't even manage to finish the fries. Something is wrong with my stomach this few days. Stomach disorder? ha. She only had 1 hour of lunchtime. By the time we finish. It was already. 1245? Then she went back to work. Muji Muji.

After lunch I went off to Orchard le. Had a specific item in mind so it wasn't that bad. ha. Bought something. :) So happy. Then shopped around Orchard went to Far East. Was thinking of whether to get the thing eventually didn't get it. Most prolly I'll go back and buy and hopefully it will not be sold away. Still deciding on either one. It's cheap. $15bucks only. I feel that it's quite worth it. Most of all! It's nice!

Oh well, I'm gonna make it work! =D Not by hook or by crook. I'm a decent and honest citizen of Singapore. =D

Then went over at my Mum's workplace. Stayed for 45mins. The boss came so I left. Then head home and chatted with a friend. He's gonna help me! I'm like so happy. SO HAPPY. Not gonna say help me in what.

I maybe maybe will change my blog URL. Still haven't come up with anything yet. Hmm. Actually I have 2, still trying to come up with more or either of those 2. ha.

Shall stop here le. :)
Thanks for reading.

Hi people!
I went to do an online check and found out the Cut off point for all 17 JC in Singapore. This is how it goes. All this are by Alphabetical Order.

S/NO Junior College Arts (Cut-Off Point) Science (Cut-Off Point)
1 Anderson JC 11 8
2 Anglo-Chinese JC 9 9
3 Catholic JC 14 13
4 Hwa Chong Institution 5 4
5 Innova JC 20 20
6 Jurong JC 17 14
7 Meridian JC 14 13
8 Nanyang JC 13 10
9 National JC 6 6
10 Pioneer JC 18 15
11 Raffles JC 5 4
12 Serangoon JC 18 18
13 St. Andrew's JC 11 9
14 Tampines JC 13 14
15 Temasek JC 8 7
16 Victoria JC 6 5
17 Yishun JC 20 20

ME AND MY GOALS ARE! STILL SO SO SO SO SO FAR APART! LIKE HEAVEN AND EARTH APART. St. Andrew's JC Arts Stream. 11points. Maintained.

The Top 5 JC in Singapore is as follow:

1: Raffles JC

2: Hwa Chong JC

3: Victoria JC ( I think it had just overtaken National JC by it's science cut-off point)

4: National JC

5: Temasek JC

I've something for Junior Colleges. I dunno why but I feel and want to pursue a JC studies and am working towards it. Polytechnic is still 2nd. LOL! SO AM GONNA PURSE A 'A' LEVELS! LOL!

Many young teens nowadays ain't interested in going to JC anymore due to the rumours of being stress if one has to study in Junior College. And I hereby ask a question.

Is studying in Polytechnic not the very least bit of pressuring?

In this society, everywhere we go there are bound to be pressure coming down upon us. It's inevitable. You can't run away from it. The more pressure one is able to handle. The more one grows learn how to handle pressure and effectively relieving it.

There are many methods in relieving stress and Drug abusing, smoking are not in anyway helpful in relieving stress. It just adds on to the 'stress' in your pocket. I heard from my aunt. She said 'If one smoke, in his/her whole lifetime she burnt away a flat.' Which is like GOODNESS! Imagine you burn away a flat. Imagine how much burden smoking brings to you. Oh well digressing too much. I DO NOT SUPPORT SMOKING! Period.

AND I JUST SAW SOME SHOCKING NEWS. SAJC ARTS STREAM HAS IMPROVED BY ONE GRADE WHICH IS ARTS STREAM NEED TO GET 10POINTS. LIKE............................... ZzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzZ. I'm still gonna work towards it. P.O.A will be a great obstacle.

It has been such of a hell boring day at home that I just feel like dying.

Spending off my day in such a ridiculous way. Wasting my time and not being able to find a job didn't help at all. MAN! Let me tell you what I did today and you all will be bored to death and may not be able to reach till the end of the post.

I woke up at 9+ with all the shouting at screaming in my house due to my brother.

Ate my breakfast which consisted of a crossiant, ham and vegetables.

Watch 2 episodes of Hana Yori Dango 2.

Went to use the computer for 3hours.

By then it was around 3.30p.m.

So I decided to take a nap and hella!

I woke up at 7.45.

Watch another episode of Hana Yori Dango 2

And now I'm here. WHAT A DAY! It could have been a much more productive day but I just spent it like day. Tomorrow will definitely be a productive day.

Cell Group Meeting at 11a.m at S.K's house. Then dunno what I'll do. Wait and see.

If I've really got nothing to do. I might just go for service tomorrow. See how first.

Today is just a bloody boring day without anything to do. Am waiting for a message reply. Grrr.

Vacuum Salesman.
An enthusiastic door-to-door vacuum salesman goes to the first house in his new territory.

He knocks, a real mean and tough looking lady opens the door, and before she has a chance to say anything, he runs inside and dumps cow patties all over the carpet.

He says, "Lady, if this vacuum cleaner don't do wonders cleaning this up, I'll eat every chunk of it."

She turns to him with a smirk and says, "You want ketchup on that?"

The salesman says, "Why do you ask?"

She says, "We just moved in and we haven't got the electricity turned on yet."

HI PEOPLE!!!!

Had a hot date with Serene today. Went to LOTSA places. Whole of orchard, Plaza Singapura and Marine Square. HAHAHAHA.

Met her at 10.30a.m cos she can't wait to get to Wisma Hula & Co. to get the top that she didn't get ytd. When I was on my way to meet her. I didn't know what to SMS her so I typed a "Good morning!" to her and she was shocked and taught I just woke up. At that time was 10.21a.m le. If I just wake up, I'll most definitely get whacked by her. Met her at Yew Tee and straight off to town! ZOOOOOM____________________.

On the Mrt we saw this Lady who was sleeping very comfortably on the mrt. With her mouth wide open like she couldn't get enough oxygen and Serene audaciously took a photo of her. LOL! Felt bad though but it was really funny. Gotta see it to believe it. :) Maybe I'll asked Serene to post up the photo. ha! (Update: the photo is up interested party please click here
:) )

The moment we reach Orchard we ZOOOOOOOOOOM_______________ to Hula & Co. cos Serene was so afriad that that top would be bought off as it was left only with 2pieces ytd and would she was afraid it would be gone. HA! When we reach there she was like "Phew... Left one more piece." If not my ears is gonna be in trouble for the whole day. AHAHAHAH!

We walked from Wisma to Taka and back to Wisma then to Far East Plaza then to MM's Esprit then to Cathay for our lunch at Hong Kong Cafe. I was looking for the Baked rice section on the Menu when it was JUST RIGHT INFRONT OF ME! Oh goodness and Serene said i look funny so she asked me to "pose" again to let her take picture. It looks really unnatural (Obviously) but who cares? haha
MY Lunch for the day. Black pepper Chicken and YingYong tea. HAHAHA! YingYong sounds really funny.
YingYong! Me and Serene was saying "wasn't it suppose to be "YingYang"?
Nice ya? HAHAHHA!
Actually my objective today was to get something nice for Prom Noon. Oh well in the end I still can't escape the guilty pleasure of mine. =x Oh yes. And I teach Serene how to lock the fitting room door at Armani Exchange at Ngee Ann City. We were at Takashimaya when we saw these section selling Halloween stuffs. I was looking around at the stuffs and I turn around and WOOOOOOOOOOOOOH I was scared by the stupid halloween stuff behind my back. Never taught would get shocked by those.

Was looking at my Prom Noon clothes and this Male staff at the particular shop was uber friendly. He keep helping me to get the relavant clothes for our prom theme and another staff also gave their opinion on the dressing. Overall I give a +++ for their service. I'll surely go back and get their stuffs man.

It's this kinda friendly service and the attitude of giving the customer the best out of everything that makes the customer want to go back there and buy their things. Who says service is not important. It's very important. If One knows how to capture the customer's heart. The customer will sure go back. Oh yes. I do not support the phrase that many people like to use

"The customer is always right."

YES. Maybe to a certain extend. Many people tend to use this to so-called achieve what they want. Spare a thought for those in the service line. If the customer get too overboard it's not the customer's right anymore. People do make mistake at times. We're all humans. Why do some people just have to make a big fuss out of it and not being able to forgive and forget the poor fellow who is in the service line and made a mistake. And is now shaken with fear over the mistake that he made and is afraid of the customer lashing out at him/her. Oh well. Not many people put themselves in other people shoes. I'm not saying I always do. Think about it. If you were to be in the poor fellow shoes. You would want to be forgiven after you had offered a sincere apology. Oh well digress too much.. Where was I. Oh ya!

And Serene was thinking whether she should buy that necklace anot. Got discount somemore. She will be thinking thinking using up all her brain juice. HAHAHA!

I've decided. Decided. Hope I get a good bargain with my mama. :)

Oh well. Overall Great day spent with Serene. Hot date man. This kinda shopping is so much better than how we used to go out. LOL! Shall not digress any further. :)

Hi people!

Just now Blogger refused to upload my photos so I decided not to post now it's ok so I decided to post. HAHAHAH! Posted quite a no. of pictures. so ya. HAHAHA. I went shopping today. MAN! Was suppose to look at Prom Noon's Clothes. Turn out, I look at what to buy during Christmas Sales. So Many Many Many things to buy. I took a liking to a few Shirt.

This is the Armani Exchange Shirt that I REALLY REALLY LIKE! Gonna get it during sales.
Another one of the Armani Exchange shirt. This one is Small size so it looks rather tight fit COS!! No more M! so Took a picture. At least feel shiok abit.

I went to the Takashimaya Armani Exchange. Fitting Room joke.

I was going to the fitting room then i push open de door and realize someone was inside there changing. Thank God I didn't see anything. NOBODY KNOW HOW TO LOCK THE DOOR!

Normally the latch would below the handle. But Armani Exchange one is really different the latch is at the top of the door and not many people notice it. It took me 10seconds to realize it was there. It was really hilarious looking at the people not knowing how to lock and stand behind the door trying to stop the door from opening. I was laughing la.

Disclaimer: If you're gonna blabber about how I'm only buying during sales and therefore is a cheap shopper, then let me tell you I'm being a smart one. :)After which, I went to my Mum's workplace and her colleague ask me whether I wanna cut my hair like the above picture and the front is like THIS!
I was like OH GOODNESS! No thanks. I like the back and side view. Not the front part. But Many **** are getting that hairstyle and I don't feel like following them. I still like my hairstyle although it looks like grass but it's me! HAHAHA

Tag along with Serene and Claudia ytd to Woodlands Library to WATCH Claudia study. In the end Claudia wasn't productive either. We were chatting all the way. HAHA! In the Library and when the library personnel walk past we just pretend to be reading newspaper, books and doing homework etc. HHAHAAHHAH! We're Lame. Took the picture above at Gelare. We had Waffle Ice Cream. Mine! Nice eh! :)Took this During the last week of school. Recess time. Took so long to put it up! HAHAHA!

Serene fell before it was shot.
My baked rice. :)
Claudia eating her Swensens' baked rice.
Claudia's, Mine, Serene's
Mine, Claudia's, Serene's took it on the train ytd. Too bored.

Hi people! I'm back!

HAHAHA! Was back yesterday night. Thank God there wasn't any jam in the causeway because of Hari Raya. If not it'll be so cham. Was suppose to be back on Friday but was forced to stay one more day. -.-

MAN!!!!!! Had a great time. Eating, shopping, sleeping. HAHAHAA! Bought like so many so many stuffs. actually not alot. HAHA! Spend RM150 on clothes. Acceptable right? They had like GREAT DISCOUNT! I guess it's due to the Hari Raya season. I didn't buy anything for anyone else except my best friend. (Note: There is NO 's' behind 'friend') HAAHAH!

Ate great food at malacca. Seafood where you can't find in Singapore. hahaha. REALLY NICE. Moreover it's FREE~ Makes it evermore delicious.

Nothing to blog also. Oh yes!

On my way to Church this morning. There is this couple with their child who were sitting down. At a particular station an 80 year-old man came in. ( He told me he was 80 and his grandson is 27 already. LOL! ) He started to play with the child like tickle the child. Old people like young children. The baby girl suddenly got frightened. She was tapping her chest and saying "scared scared" to her mother and started to cry. I was like.. Oh my. I guess the baby girl is just not use to it. Maybe it's not baby but a toddler. In anyway it's just a young girl. Less than 3 years-old i guess.

It was quite funny actually how a man wanted to make the girl laugh ended up the girl crying. HA!

An eye for an eye, a tooth for a set of dentures! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! So funny right? I'm quite lame. pardon me. :)

Hi people!

Had finish 90% of my 'N' level paper le. Left P.O.A paper 1 and 2 on Monday and free. Like FREEEEE~~~~ for a moment. :)

Prom noon. We had to pay 45bucks by tomorrow and like we have no school tomorrow. It'll be at a hotel. The hotel behind GOODWOOD PARK HOTEL I haven't seen it or heard of it before. But it's better than the school hall I guess.

Had thought of it for a long while and STILL have not YET come to a conclusion. Life is utterly unfair. My dreams are semi-dashed when I realize something. Haiz. Just dunno how. It's so unfair so us. We're deprived of the privilege. It's kinda saddening. Really Saddening.

Oh well not to talk about it. Ytd before maths paper. Some Ngee Ann Poly student(our ex-student) came to set up a booth at our school canteen with the courses that are available. I went to take a look and Ms Angela Chew happens to be there.

Me: (Just looking around at the booklets available)

Ms Chew: Takeeee, just takeeeee. Which class are you from?

Me:I'm taking 'N' Levels this year.

Ms Chew: It's ok, it's never too late to plan. takeeee just takeeeee.

Me: Erm, Mass Com? (because that's the one I'm interested in.)

*students hands me the booklet*

Ms Chew: Takeeee takeeee more. Then go home can read through and know. takeeee

Student: You can take this magazine inside got all the courses available in Ngee Ann.

Me: Ok. (and quickly rushed off)

Really funny. Keep asking me to "takeeeee takeeee takeeeee"

LOL! Come to think of it is really funny.

Ngee Ann, Diploma in Mass Communication. I only want to go that course. LOL! Future Journalist ok? HAHAHA.

Read through the magazine. Ngee Ann offer quite nice CCA. HA! Like I wanna join all!!! Impossible. hahaha. If I join all I do not even have time to answer nature's call.
Like so many cool one. Dragon Boat, Wakeboarding, Archery, In line Skating, Canoe Polo and Fencing. MAN! Ok, I should stop dreaming and concentrate about going to Sec 5 first.
(Ms Chew: It's never too late to plan.) HHAHAHAHAAHAHAH

Ok. Shall stop here.
