Sorry, my mistake in the previous post, I thought Djokovic will faced Fernando Gonzalez but it was Andy Roddick who faced Gonzalez and defeated him this morning(Singapore Time)

So, Novak Djokovic will face the 8th seeded Andy Roddick in the quarter finals. I watched the match between Robredo and Djokovic until 4 this morning, when the match when to the 5th set I was like 'how can you do this!' to the big black box. Well, I was still happy that Djokovic won! Hoho. Djokovic seems to be not on form havin' to take so long to win a match and the commentators said that this might be the 'Olympic hangover' I just hope that Djokovic can get into at least the final just like he did last year.

Roger Federer,seeded 2nd.

Igor Andreev,seeded 23rd.

This is the first 2sets that Federer dropped in the whole tournament if am not wrong.

If Federer and Djokovic defeated their quarter-finals opponent, Then they will face each other in the semi-finals, then, I wouldn't know who to support. As long as Nadal don't win this Grand Slam then it's ok. haha.

Elena Dementieva will be facing Jelena Jankovic in the Semi-finals while Williams sisters will face each other in the quarter-finals tonight, or tomorrow morning. Dinara Safina will face Flavia Penneta in the quarter-finals tonight, or tomorrow morning as well. I hope Elena Dementieva will win this year's US Open to become the 3rd woman to win both a Olympic Gold and US Open in the same year!
